Remote Patient Monitoring

Assured Medical Alliance is proud to use Ideal Life equipment and software in our remote patient monitoring solution. Remote patient monitoring provides daily vital sign monitoring in order to spot an unfavorable trend, thereby preventing a costly trip to the emergency room or lengthy hospital stay. This proactive service allows the patient to see their doctor before it becomes a serious issue.

Conditions suited for monitoring include:

  • Heart attack recovery
  • Autoimmune disorders
  • Congestive heart failure
  • Pneumonia
  • Diabetes
  • COPD
  • Chronic renal failure
  • Hypertension

The telemonitoring nurse will review the daily vital signs (weight, blood pressure, glucose, pulse oxygen levels) for each patient and ensure that they are within the acceptable ranges. If a reading falls outside of this range, a call is placed to the caregiver or patient in order to determine if the reading was correct and if action needs to be taken.

Caregivers can get access readings anytime, anywhere using the secure cloud-based portal, all you need is a web browser.

Also available is the ability to generate customized reports for each patient. These reports are useful in order to provide a doctor a more accurate picture of what is happening with the patient's vital signs versus the one-time readings taken in the doctor's office. These one-time readings do not take into account factors such as time of day the readings were taken, stress of traveling to the appointment or the appointment itself, or inability to eat as necessary due to a long time spent in the waiting room.
